What is the difference between special order, in-stock and rush delivery dresses? |

Special Order: Special Order refers to gowns that are not in inventory and must be made by the manufacturer after we receive your order. The vast majority of dresses on this website will be special order, but occasionally we will have the specific dress
you are looking for in-stock. Special order dresses take an average of 12-16 weeks depending on the season, so please be sure to give yourself ample time when ordering a dress.
In-Stock: Occasionally, Wedding Mountain may have the wedding dress you are looking for in stock. Theses dresses are available for shipment immediately on a first come, first served basis. Average shipping for these items is 6-12 days depending on shipping method. Please be aware that any dress not in stock will become a special order gown.
Rush Order: A rush order occurs when a customer pays an additional fee (typically around $65-$80) to have their dress made faster than the normal estimated delivery time. Rush orders can shorten the wait by a number of weeks, making the average waiting time 6-8 weeks as opposed to 12-16 weeks.

What is the estimated delivery time for wedding dresses ordered from Weddingmountain.com? |

Delivery time differs from manufacturer to manufacturer and whether we have the dress in stock. Although we have no way of guaranteeing or even knowing the exact delivery time for bridal gown orders, the average estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Special Order: 12-16 weeks
- In-Stock: 6-12 days
- Rush Order: 6-8 weeks

When should I order? |

We ask that you place your order as far in advance as possible to allow for the average wait of 12-16 weeks for the dress as well as any alterations that will be necessary to insure proper fit. Most alteration houses prefer 3 to 4 weeks for alterations.

Can I order from the designer? |

No. All of the dress designers found on Weddingmountain.com only accept orders from authorized retailers.

Do you charge sales tax? |

Idaho residents will be charged a 6% sales tax. All orders from outside the state of Idaho will not be charged sales tax.

How do I decide what size to order? |

To make sure you are properly measured, please refer to our measurement guide.
Once you know your measurements, it is essential that you order a dress size that will accommodate your largest measurement. For example, if your bust and waist can fit into a size 12 but your hips need a size 14, you would need to order a size 14 and have the other areas altered to insure the best fit possible.

Can I order fabric? |

Yes. It is possible to order additional fabric from most manufacturers. Prices for fabric average $20 per yard.

Can I check the status of my order? |
A. |
When you place an order for a wedding gown, the manufacturer gives us an estimated delivery date, which we then give to you. Although this date is not exact, you can contact us within two weeks of the estimated date to make sure the dress will be on time. We will then contact you with status of the order.

Why are your shipping dates estimated and not exact? |
A. |
Because manufacturing times vary for each style of dress, manufacturers will not guarantee delivery on exact dates. We are only provided with an estimated shipping date and as such that is all we can relay to the customer.

Do you ship outside the U.S.? |
A. |
Yes we will ship anywhere worldwide only if your billing address and shipping address are the same.
All international credit card orders MUST have the same billing and shipping address. If your billing address does not match your shipping address we can accept paypal payments only.

WeddingMountain.com is not responsible for any additional charges like tariffs, duties, taxes or brokerage fees that apply to international orders. WeddingMountain.com has no knowledge of fees and taxes in other countries and recommends that you consult your local government for such information.

What is your return and cancellation policy? |

Returns:
WeddingMountain.com will only accept returns for dresses that are in like-new, unaltered and untouched condition. Wedding Mountain will not accept returns on any plus sized gowns, gowns with specialty ordered dimensions, in stock gowns or discounted gowns. In order to return your wedding gown, you must contact Weddingmountain.com within 3 days of when the shipment is delivered to the address you provide. In order to return your wedding dress, you must first receive permission from WeddingMountain.com, at which point we will provide you with a return authorization number. Once the authorization number is given, you will have 5 business days to return the merchandise. All returned dresses will be fined a 50% restocking fee that will be deducted from the refund; such a fee is necessary because it is impossible for us to return dresses to the designers and manufacturers. All shipping, transaction and insurance fees will be the responsibility of the customer. Again, any dress that is returned in altered or damaged condition will not be accepted for return, at which point the customer is obligated to pay the full purchase price. All returned packages must have the return authorization number on them.
Cancelled Orders:
All orders must be cancelled within three days of the initial purchase or the customer will be obligated to forfeit 50% of the purchase price. Orders on bridal gowns cancelled within three days may still be subjected to a cancellation fee. Orders for rush cut gowns, rush delivery orders and orders from the manufacturers stock inventory cannot be cancelled.
